1. Scope

Mobeet currently serves users in India. Mobeet respects copyright and expects creators and participants to use material they own, are licensed to use or may lawfully use under an applicable exception. This policy covers copyright complaints about content made available through Mobeet, responses by the affected user and action concerning repeat infringement.

The policy works alongside the Terms of Service, Publisher Agreement and Content Guidelines. Applicable law controls any statutory requirements. Mobeet does not decide ownership disputes with the authority of a court.

2. Your responsibility when publishing

Obtain the rights needed for music, sound recordings, video, photographs, artwork, text and other material in your content. Rights in a recording and in the underlying work may be held separately. Material being available online, credited to its owner or used without profit does not by itself establish permission.

Do not claim someone else's work as your own or repost material after a copyright restriction without resolving the issue. A challenge instruction does not grant rights in third-party material. Participation does not transfer a participant's ownership to the challenge creator.

3. Contact and ordinary complaints

Send a copyright complaint to reachout@mobeet.com with the subject “Copyright complaint”.

Identify the work, the disputed material and its exact location; explain whether you own the relevant rights or are authorized to act for the owner; and provide a way to contact you. Include the basis of the concern and any useful permission or ownership information. Mobeet may ask for missing details.

Privacy, impersonation and harassment complaints can be raised through the ordinary reporting process. Appearing in a photograph does not necessarily mean you own its copyright. Do not use a copyright notice where a different rights complaint is the appropriate route.

4. Assessment and action

Mobeet may remove or disable disputed material when required by law or justified under the platform rules. Where lawful and practicable, we notify the affected user and explain the available response. A restriction is not a final judicial finding of infringement.

We may provide relevant complaint information to the affected user so they can respond. Submit only necessary personal information. Formal procedures may require disclosure of identity and contact details; anonymity cannot be guaranteed.

5. Responding to a complaint

If you believe a restriction is mistaken, identify the content and explain your rights or the applicable exception. Relevant information may include an original source, a licence, written authorization or an explanation of misidentification.

Do not repost the same disputed material, use another account to avoid the restriction or pressure the complainant while the issue is being assessed.

6. False or abusive notices

Submit accurate information and consider any authorization or legal exception before making a claim. Do not use notices to suppress criticism, competition or content you merely dislike. Knowing misrepresentations may have legal consequences. A formal copyright notice or response can affect legal rights; consider obtaining advice before submitting one.

7. Indian copyright complaints

Mobeet is operated from India. The Copyright Act, 1957, applicable rules and binding orders govern Indian complaints. Send a complaint to the copyright contact or the Grievance Officer identified in the Terms of Service.

Where section 52(1)(c) and rule 75 apply to transient or incidental storage, a written complaint must identify the work, establish ownership or exclusive-license rights, explain infringement and why a statutory exception does not permit it, locate the stored material, identify the uploader if known, and undertake to pursue a competent court order within 21 days.

If that procedure applies and the complaint establishes an infringing copy, access is restricted within 36 hours for the statutory period of 21 days or until the relevant court order is received, as provided by law. A notice explaining the restriction is made available. If the required court order is not produced, access may be restored, subject to another valid restriction. Other content complaints or binding directions may have shorter applicable deadlines.

8. Repeat infringement

Mobeet may restrict or terminate accounts of repeat infringers in appropriate circumstances. Review considers distinct infringements, relevant responses, resolved mistakes, retractions, reinstatements, court decisions, deliberate reposting and attempts to evade restrictions. Several notices about the same item do not automatically establish several distinct infringements.

A disputed allegation is not automatically a proven infringement. Equally, submitting a dispute does not authorize further infringement. Serious or deliberate conduct may justify action before a repeated pattern develops; no fixed number of permitted violations is promised.

Actions may include a warning, removal of content, restriction of publishing, suspension or termination. Account-level restrictions may be reviewed at reachout@mobeet.com. Identify the decision and relevant supporting information.

9. Records and other legal routes

Mobeet may retain notices, responses and necessary enforcement records for the periods and purposes stated in the finalized Privacy Policy, including an active legal claim or lawful preservation requirement. Records are not automatically published to the public.

This policy does not prevent a lawful court action or a complaint to a competent authority, and does not represent that Mobeet has already qualified for a statutory liability safe harbor.
